One popular resource for small business owners is Entrepreneur.com where you can find various topics, from business ideas to franchising opportunities to advices on how to run and grow a business. If you are a small business owner, the Internal Revenue Services and the Small Business Administration also has valuable resources to help you get started. The famous Forbes also has a site where you can get advice and information on how to start and grow a small business.
Entrepreneur America is also there to mentor start-ups and established businesses, preferably technology-related ones, to help them grow, increase profit, and bolster market position. Global Entrepreneur Site
If you want to go global, the Entrepreneurs' Organization founded more than 20 years ago, is for you. It is composed of more than 7,000 members from 38 countries, employing 924,000 people all together. It sponsors global and chapter conferences, forum training, and meetings to facilitate exchange of knowledge for the learning and growth of each members. It has a network of 700 member companies and 18,000 employees. It prides itself of helping more than 350 community organizations and rendering thousands of volunteer service hours.
Entrepreneur Sites for Students and Women
Another resource for students is the Collegiate Entrepreneurs' Organization a global network, some 30,000 students. The organization's programs are implemented through 400 chapters and affiliated student organizations within certain campuses. Founded more than 20 years ago, it aims to inspire college student to develop entrepreneurial spirit and seek entrepreneurial opportunities. There are also other sites, like the Young Entrepreneurs, a nonprofit organization, which offers classes that teaches students the skills of starting their own business; as well as the Young Entrepreneur Forums where participants discuss entrepreneurship-related topics to help and encourage one another. Entrepreneurs' Organization also operates the Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards, which are available for entrepreneurs studying in accredited university or college.
